AI Policy
Purpose Statement:
I use AI as a behind-the-scenes assistant to speed up research, organisation and idea development. It supports my thinking and workflow, but never replaces my craft, judgment or the individuality of my clients’ voices.
Acceptable Uses
- To collect, sort and summarise background research.
- To explore angles, questions and content ideas during strategy and brainstorming.
- To organise information into outlines, frameworks or checklists I then refine.
- To sense-check clarity, structure, grammar and consistency in drafts I’ve written.
- To streamline admin tasks like documenting processes, meeting notes or internal templates.
Non-Acceptable Uses
- Write client copy end-to-end or be delivered as a final draft.
- Imitate or impersonate a real person or brand without explicit permission.
- Fabricate testimonials, case studies, data or results.
- Replace human review, strategic thinking or ethical judgement.
- Store or process highly sensitive client information without first removing identifying details.
Transparency Statement
- This AI Policy is publicly available on The Word Nest website.
- I let clients know, in proposals or project conversations, when AI may support research, ideation or internal drafting.
- I ensure all AI-assisted material is thoroughly edited, personalised and approved by me before it is shared externally.
Final Policy & Accountability
AI is a helpful tool, not a shortcut to generic work. It may support research, organisation and early thinking, but every strategy, message and final word is shaped, written and approved by a human (that’s me!). My priority is always originality, integrity and the long-term trust of my clients and their audiences.
